Hernö Old Tom Gin is the best Old Tom Gin in Asia 2019. Twice. Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition (HK IWSC) is today announcing that Hernö Old Tom Gin is awarded with Best Old Tom Gin. Recently Asian Gin Masters awarded Hernö Old Tom Gin with their only gold in the Old Tom category.

– Two gold awards from two jury groups that independently from each other states that Hernö Old Tom Gin is the best. It’s extremely honorable, says Jon Hillgren, Hernö Gin Founder and the Master Distiller who has created the multiple awarded gin.

Hernö Old Tom Gin is awarded with gold by HK IWSC for Best Old Tom Gin in Asia 2019 during Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair. A jury composed of international gin experts has made the judgement during a rigorous blind tasting process.

– In the same competition Hernö Gin is also awarded with gold for our Hernö Juniper Cask Gin. We also received a Green Award for Hernö Old Tom Gin for its organic certification in combination with the gold award, adds Jon.

Golden opportunities in an expansive phase at the Asian market.

Cathay Pacific Hong Kong International Wine & Spirit Competition is a part of the IWSC Group, arranging the world’s most respected wine and spirits competition, and is influential on the Asian market. Their gold award together with the gold award from Asian Gin Masters will have a big impact for Hernö Gin in terms of increased awareness and sales.

– We already have a position in Hong Kong and Macau, with several of our products in the super premium segment demanded by guests at the most exclusive bars, at restaurants rated in the Michelin Guide and several luxury hotels, says Elin Sahlman, Key Account Manager, Hernö Gin.

In Japan it’s apparent that Hernö Old Tom Gin is a favorite and Liquor Mountain with 187 stores in the country and two million members provides as well the private market as bars, hotels and restaurants with Hernö Gin.
